A 16-year-old Kokomo High School student was arrested after allegedly bringing a gun to school and sharing a picture on social media.
Kokomo police say they were alerted to the situation after an anonymous tip Wednesday night.
The teenager has been charged with several crimes and was taken into custody without incident.
Kokomo School officials sent a short, recorded message to parents about the situation, calling it an isolated incident and no active threats exist at the school.
