An 8th grade boy from McCulloch Middle School faces several charges after making threats at the school late last week.
Marion Police say they received several calls Friday about the 14-year old youth making threats to students and threatening to get a gun and start shooting up the school. Police went to the boy’s home and searched for a weapon but didn’t find one. They arrested the youth on Intimidation charges and took him to the Grant County Juvenile Detention Center.
Officers say they will handle such threats with zero tolerance.
