The F-B-I is investigating the purchase of several properties by the Muncie Sanitary District.
In late March, F-B-I agents asked for and obtained information regarding at least 60 properties that the Sanitary District has purchased since 2015. Most of the buildings on those properties have been demolished.
F-B-I agents have declined comment on the investigation.
