Health officials are warning consumers about eating romaine lettuce after several persons became ill with E- coli, possibly because of the lettuce they ate.
The Centers for Disease Control is investigating 17 illnesses in 13 states, including one in Indiana.
The C-D-C says it’s not 100-percent certain that the cause is the romaine lettuce, but they and the Food and Drug Administration are investigating.
