The closest race in Tuesday’s Grant County Primary was for the Republican nomination for County Clerk that was decided by just 36 votes.
Pam Harris defeated Karen Wood for the G-O-P nod to replace the outgoing Carolyn Mowery…who chose not to seek re-election. No Democrat has yet filed to seek the Clerk’s office, but could be slated by the Party at a later date.
Longtime Center Township Trustee Bryce Coryea survived a stiff challenge from Kathy Edwards yesterday, winning re-nomination by less than 100 votes.
