Nine people face various drug-related charges after a raid at two locations in Marion.
After receiving a Crime Stoppers tip, members of the Grant County Joint Effort Against Narcotics unit, along Indiana State Police officers raided a room at the Hart Motel on the city’s north side and arrested five people. They found a large amount of drugs and paraphernalia there and evidence that led them to a second location. Officers then raided an apartment on South Maple Street and arrested four more suspects on drug charges after finding narcotics and paraphernalia at that location.
All nine suspects are now in the Grant County Jail and officers say other arrests could be made as their investigation continues.
