The Howard County Historical Society has announced that the Seiberling Mansion will take part in the ninth annual Blue Star Museums Program, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than two-thousand museums across the country that will offer free admission to active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The Howard County Historical Society operates from the historic Seiberling Mansion in Kokomo, which was built in 1889.
