Muncie school officials are expected to recommend the elimination of 28 teaching positions at today’s school board meeting as a means to reduce costs.
Three teacher contracts are expected to be cancelled and 25 others will be eliminated through attrition. The moves are expected to save the school system nearly 1.8-million dollars next school year.
