Kokomo City leaders are planning to make upgrades and improvements to the Apperson Way corridor to help the area grow and thrive.
Business owners and residents of that area say they’ve taken a back seat to downtown Kokomo for many years, but feel they need help to grow the neighborhood. They feel the appropriation of 100-thousand dollars from the Kokomo City Council will be just the start of something big for the area.
Civic improvements are expected to be made in that area starting in 2019.
