The Boys and Girls Clubs of Muncie have received a grant of 100-thousand dollars from the George and Frances Ball Foundation to support the clubs’ educational programming.
The “Power Hour” is a dedicated time at the clubs during which all students focus on academics. During the “Power Hour,” students work on specific pieces of homework, receive tutoring from volunteers, or engage with a number of educational activities offered at the club.
