Delaware County residents who are upset over the lack of public meetings about plans for a new county jail have organized their own public meeting for this Saturday.
The grassroots public meeting will be held Saturday at noon in front of the current County Justice Center. Organizers say they plan to protest the upcoming meeting next week when County Commissioners will likely vote to finalize plans to use the old ASONS and Wilson Middle School Building for the new jail.
