A Ball State University professor has developed a plan for parents of picky eaters who want to improve the diet of their children.
Laura Sieverling has developed “Broccoli Boot Camp” as a way of diversifying the diet of a picky eater.
Sieverling says the key is to introduce small bites of new food in a meal, repeat the exposure to the new food and use rewards for trying new foods. She says what parents say about that new food is also critical.
