Delaware County Commissioners voted Monday in favor of rezoning approximately 6 acres of land owned by First Church of the Nazarene, facing Indiana 332. The approved zoning changes will allow for several land uses, including auto dealerships, motels/hotels, and restaurants, to name just a few.
According to the Star Press, the church wants to sell the site for a commercial development and is in talks with Meijer about road access to the parcel. Should no deal be reached between the church and Meijer, the development would not move forward.
