Services for the late Richard Lugar will be held May 15th at St. Luke’s Methodist Church in Indianapolis.
The long time U.S. Senator and former Indianapolis mayor will lie in state in the rotunda of the state capitol 24 hours prior to the funeral. After a brief ceremony at noon on May 14th, the public is welcome to pay respects until sunset on Tuesday and then from 8-11am Wednesday.
The funeral itself begins Wednesday at 1 at St. Luke’s. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Lugar Center.
