You might be paying less at the gas pump soon.
Many experts say the tariffs on Mexican and Chinese goods are going to hamper the US economy.
Patrick DeHaan, Head of Petroleum Analysis for Gasbuddy.com, agrees with those predictions, but he says Trump’s tariffs will lead to a slowdown in oil demand.
That means lower gas prices. The statewide average for gas today is $2.87 per gallon. The cheapest gas in the state is in Fort Wayne where it’s $2.56.
