Purdue University is doing their part to help farmers that want to grow hemp.
The Purdue Crop Diagnostic Training and Research Center recently hosted a hemp field day, teaching farmers about hemp licensing, agronomic practices and the difficulties in growing the crop.
At the start of this month, it became legal in Indiana to grow hemp, which does not contain THC, the same substance in marijuana that makes people high.
