Economist Michael Hicks warns not to rush out of investments amid fluctuations

You shouldn’t rush to get out of your investments, says Ball State Economics Professor Michael Hicks, even though the stock market correction is the second drop in as many weeks.

He said Thursday, that if you’re under 55 you’ll go through several market corrections, or even recessions before you retire and use that income.

He said if you have stocks and bonds, you’re in fairly good shapes. He said most of us have bonds in our portfolio that balance off the stock issue.
