A retired Hamilton County deputy faces five felony child pornography charges.
Court documents said David A. Wyler, 65, of Carmel, viewed child pornography and authorities were tipped off when he uploaded explicit images of young boys to Pinterest in March.
The website, in turn, alerted authorities. Wyler was confronted by police in July, at his home. He admitted to looking at child pornography and detectives found pictures of young girls on his phone.
Wyler’s next court date is Oct. 3. His trial is set for January.
