UPDATE: ISDH adds more than 250 COVID-19 cases, state total nears 2,000

The State Department of Health has added another 273 cases to Indiana’s total number of presumptive positive COVID-19 cases. That total now sits at 1,786 cases as of 10 a.m. Monday,

Thirty-five Hoosiers have died. To date, 11,658 have been tested so far, up from 9,830 on Sunday.

There remain 7 positive cases in Grant County and no deaths linked to the virus at the local level.

Marion County had the most new cases, at 135, while Hamilton County had 20, Lake County had 12 and Madison County had 11.

Gov. Eric Holcomb, the Indiana State Department of Health and other state leaders will host a virtual media briefing in the Governor’s Office to provide updates on COVID-19 and its impact on Indiana at 2:30 p.m. today.
