There are now eight Grant County COVID-19 deaths, according to Public Health Nurse Amber Turner in an exclusive interview with Good Morning Grant County on 1400 WBAT.
Turner added that there are 130 positive cases as of Wednesday morning.
Across the state another 650 Hoosiers have tested positive for coronavirus, the Indiana State Department of Health said Tuesday.
A total of 16,588 Hoosiers have now tested positive for the virus, out of over 87,181 people tested overall.
19% of Hoosiers tested for coronavirus have tested positive. Marion County has the most coronavirus cases, with 5,080.
A total of 901 Hoosiers have died from the virus, said ISDH.
