Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker are promising laughs and good music when they co-host November’s CMA Awards. Reba returns after hosting last year with Carrie Underwood and Dolly Parton. It will mark her fifth year as a host. Darius will be a first-time host of the CMAs when the show airs on November 11 on ABC from Nashville.

Reba McEntire has a new man in her life: CSI: Miami star Rex Linn. She revealed the news on her podcast. Reba and Rex have been dating since at least early this year. Reba says there was dinner in late January “and then February on it was the COVID pandemic, and we were talking, texting, FaceTime. And that’s a really good way to get to know people.” • IMAGE

Shenadoah will soon release their first album of all-new music in 26 years, a collaborative collection featuring a number of country stars: Zac Brown, Luke Bryan, Ashley McBryde, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, Lady A, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, and others. The album will be titled Every Road and comes out November 13.

Cam will release her highly anticipated sophomore album The Otherside this month. The 11-track record will include familiar favorites Diane, Till There’s Nothing Left, Redwood Tree and the lead single, Classic. In addition, Cam’s forthcoming album will also feature songs written by pop superstars Harry Styles, Sam Smith and the late Swedish DJ Avicii, who wrote its title track. • IMAGE

Sam Hunt will try to score his eighth No. 1 song with the release of Breaking Up Was Easy in the ’90s. The tune is on Sam’s No. 1 sophomore album, Southside, which was released in April. The breakup song has Sam yearning for the days before smartphones and social media. • LISTEN

Kane Brown will be sharing his tips and advice on how to have a successful musical career when he appears on the upcoming season of The Voice. While Kane has appeared before as a musical guest, he will now join as the battle round advisor for Blake Shelton’s team.
