Walgreens is raising its hourly wage. The pharmacy chain will increase the starting wage for staffers to $15 an hour starting in October. Rival CVS Health said earlier this month that it would raise the minimum wage for its employees to $15 an hour starting next July. Walgreens says the wage increases will take place in phases and will be fully implemented by Nov. 2022.
