A lot of folks bake around the holidays. Growing up, my mom and I did because our family business hosted this over-the-top Christmas Eve party. We had a sand and gravel mine, so all the drinks went into a loader bucket and we had all kinds of different foods. My mom and I would make like 10 different kinds of cookies but never had enough cooling racks.
I came across this TikTok video last night and had an ahhhhhh moment of why didn’t we think of this? This TikToker shared if you take the cover off your ironing board. Remove the foam layer… and wash the metal part down really well… you have an oversized cooling rack for your cookies. I thought that was genius idea… except for the fact, I don’t have an ironing board because I’m a millennial and have no idea how to iron my clothes! LOL young people’s problems.
