I’m not sure if this will shock you or not, but for the most part, I’m friends with my exes or guys that I had situationships with that didn’t work out. So… you can say that’s crazy, but I don’t see anything wrong with it. They were part of my past and I’m grateful for each lesson that comes from each person.
Over the weekend, one of the guys from my past reached out and I told another friend that we had talked. My friend questioned my decision to talk to him. Like I told her, I’m friends with practically everyone. She told me, I need to start questioning that because being friends with your exes is a red flag in the dating world. I told her the dating world is so messed up right now because of rules like that. Why is it a problem that I’m still friends with my exes? There are no feelings there!
Once again I feel like this a rule that can be and should be broken. So, if you can have that relationship with your ex and it’s healthy… do it! If you can’t… that’s fine too!
