Halloween

Fall is my favorite time of year. It's hard to pin point what makes it so special? I loved raking leaves and building Uncle Stuffy (a giant scarecrow) when I was a kid. My birthday is in October so I always had costume birthday parties growing up. Now as an adult I make sure to decorate for Halloween in mid-September to make the most of the season. And I'm more of a jeans & sweater kind of girl, so overall this time of year suits me well.
What traditions will I pass on to my child(ren)? Dressing up and going Trick-Or-Treating or attending a Halloween party no matter how old you are, decorating the house inside & out, carving pumpkins, baking a pumpkin pie, whipping up a batch of pumpkin pancakes... oh, did I mention I love pumpkin flavored stuff?
