Ambulances at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo are now equipped with pet oxygen masks, thanks to a donation from Invisible Fence of Central Indiana.
The company donated the equipment to the hospital, specifically designed to be used on pets as part of the company’s Project Breathe program.
Community Howard’s E-M-S staff was trained last week on the equipment, which can be used to revive pets that suffer from smoke inhalation.
