Despite Grant County’s current financial woes, the County Council last night approved hiring two new Deputy Prosecutors.
County Prosecutor Jim Luttrull Junior requested filling the positions…partly because of the need for persons to handle a growing number of criminal cases in the county. Luttrull said the case load in the county is up by 22-percent in the past year.
Local judges supported Luttrull’s claims and the council approved the request.
