The current State Auditor of Indiana brought her campaign to Marion Monday. Tera Klutz was appointed to the job two years ago when Suzanne Crouch was appointed Lieutenant Governor. Klutz…a Republican…will face former Marion City Council member Jocelyn Whitticker in the November election.
Klutz previously served as an accountant, a Deputy Auditor and then was elected Auditor in Allen County. Klutz says that makes her uniquely qualified to run for State Auditor.
Klutz says unlike more publicized state office campaigns for Senate and other offices, she and Jocelyn Whitticker have agreed to run a civil campaign that focuses on their qualifications to be State Auditor.
