Indiana December Unemployment Rate Lower Again

Indiana’s unemployment rate went down again in December to 3.4-percent.  That rate remains lower than the national rate of 4.1 percent.

The December jobless rate fell thanks to the addition of more jobs in Indiana, coupled with fewer people filing for unemployment.   With the exception of October of 2014 when it was equal to the national figure, Indiana’s unemployment rate has been below the U-S rate each month for more than four years.
