Governor Eric Holcomb will sign Sunday alcohol sales into law today.
The new law will allow Sunday alcohol carryout sales in Indiana for the first time since before Prohibition.
The bill was passed with some controversy after some convenience store owners pushed for the legal sale of cold beer in convenience stores, but that effort failed. The Indiana liquor lobby got behind the Sunday sales bill, but not cold beer.
