Ball State Turns 100 This Weekend

Ball State University celebrates it’s 100th birthday this weekend.

It was on June 17, 1918 that Ball State first accepted student registrations.  In honor of the centennial celebration, Ball State will close all offices at 2 o’clock this afternoon so that all faculty, staff and students can join in the school’s 100th anniversary party at the Quad.

At today’s pary, there will be free cake and ice cream, plus music games and a 100th commemorative photograph at 3 p-m today.
