A Marion man faces multiple charges after he was tased and arrested after not complying with officers following a report of shots being fired in a near-downtown neighborhood.
Police were called just before midnight Wednesday to Second and Hill Streets where shots were reportedly fired at a home.
Police noticed two men that fit the description of those involved and told them to stop. One man complied with officers, while the other walked on and became un-ruly. He later had to be tased when officers saw that he had a gun and was verbally threatening officers.
25-year old William Lewis-Harbert now faces charges of Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Handgun by a Serious Violent Felon, plus no permit and possessing a gun with an obliterated serial number. He’s now in the Grant County Jail.
The second subject who complied with officers was not arrested.
