A Marion man has been arrested by police in Anderson in connection the killing of an Anderson man last summer.
Anderson Police yesterday arrested 30-year-old Ronald Williams Junior of Marion and charged him with Murder and Armed Robbery for the death of Jeremy Boyd of Anderson. Investigators say Williams is a former resident of Anderson.
The 35-year old Boyd died on his neighbor’s back porch after being shot on August 17th of last year. Police say he was the apparent victim of an armed robbery. He was one of four people who died that month in four separate shootings in Anderson. His death was the only unsolved case.
Williams is now being held without bond in the Madison County Jail.
