Marion’s American Legion Post has one of the lowest Post numbers because it’s one of the oldest such organizations in the country.
Marion American Legion Post 10 will celebrate its’ 100th anniversary Saturday with a Centennial Celebration party and awards banquet. The event starts at 5 o’clock Saturday afternoon with a meet-and-greet, followed by the awards dinner.
The Marion American Legion Post 10 formed in 1919 following the first World War.
