State Rep. Kevin Mahan is resigning from his seat effective July 31.
Mahan stated he is leaving to take a position with the Community Health Network and will be moving outside District 31.
Since being taking the seat in 2010, Mahan has authored numerous bills, including a recent bill to help prevent sepsis in hospitals.
