INDOT will be closing I-70 in both directions in downtown Indianapolis beginning Friday.
The closure will be between the south split and I-465 on the west side, near the airport. The closure will last 10 days while INDOT workers re-pave and patch pavement as well as do some bridgework.
This will be the latest in a series of closures INDOT has implemented.
Southbound I-65 between the south split and 465 on the south side of Indy has just reopened after 10 of being closed.
I-65 southbound on the north side of downtown is still shutdown.
