Twenty-two businesses have applied and twelve have already been knocked out in the Community Pitch Night competition.
There are now 10 working on a business plan to submit. The top 10 will be narrowed down to the final five by Sept. 20.
Pitch Night is Oct. 5. Here’s the schedule:
3 p.m. – Meet & Greet with Pitch Night Finalists
4 p.m. – Pitch Night
6 p.m. – After Party: Food Trucks, Beer Garden, & Family Fun featuring Chapman’s Brewing Co, Obi’s Barbecue, The Eis Wagon, Los Amores Restaurant, Balloons by Aaron
7 p.m. – After Party: Concert Series featuring Herbwurm and Incas
During the event, each business will have 10 minutes to present their concept and attendees will be given five minutes to ask questions. The judges will have 15-20 minutes to discuss the voter’s decisions with building owner Mike Halstead and then the winner will be announced.
