Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library opens doors at new location

The Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library officially opened doors to their new location.

Saturday the organization held a ribbon-cutting with Kurt’s daughter, Edith, at their new home on Indiana Ave, just a few blocks from the canal.

The museum honoring the famous Hoosier writer was originally in the Circle Center Mall, but their lease ended in February.

Due to hundreds of donors and volunteers, the organization has a new place that features some of Kurt’s pieces and personal items like his typewriter. The location also has a coffee house and a community room.
