A two-year-old boy has the mental capacities of a two-month-old, all because he was violently shaken when he was a baby.
Now, his foster parent is on trial. Audrey Hannaford is charged with aggravated battery and neglect of a dependent said the Muncie Star Press.
Muncie police said in 2017, the boy — who was 11 weeks old at the time — suffered severe head trauma when he was violently shaken while in Hannaford’s care.
Hannaford was arrested in August 2018, and is going to trial this week.
