I’ve learned life is way too short to live in the past. I was on TikTok the other day and someone said this quote that stuck with me. She said, “Live life like a river… a river never flows in the reverse so neither should you.”
The more I thought about this, the more it stuck with me. A river is always peaceful and flowing with life. It’s always got new water and it’s always moving in one direction. Now, this is a simple way of thinking about life, but it’s true. The past is in the past and you can’t reverse the current to go back to it. That means you need to make new currents in the current direction and live in those. I promise you the moment you make this shift, you’ll be happier. I’ve recently decided to make this shift and life is way better!
