Lots of folks find this to be crazy, but I’ve been shooting archery since I was ten years old. As an adult, I haven’t spent as much time at the range as would like, but I still make it an effort to be there when I can.
This weekend, I went camping and was able to spend about five hours at the range between the two days. I got to think… Life is a lot like archery. If you rush the shot… you miss the bullseye. On the other hand… if you are patient and take your time, stay calm, and get sighted in… you can hit perfectly just about every time. Now, this isn’t 100% true when it comes to the archery part. It takes a ton of practice to become good, and there are a million other factors… but for the most part, it is.
