If I’ve learned anything over the past two years… it’s that life is way too short and you don’t want to regret anything. A lot of my friends have regretted not calling their loved ones more. This has made me change things up a little bit in my life.
My grandfather is one of my best friends on this planet. I try and call him at least once a week because I know my time is limited with him. To be honest, I truly wish I lived closer, so I could actually spend time with him. I’ve also decided that I will be annoying my brothers more because I don’t talk to them enough.
There is a part two to this advice… make sure you tell your loved ones, you love them! I think in society we don’t say “I love you,” enough. Those words do mean a lot and should be used sparingly, but if that’s how you feel… tell them!
