I’m going to be very honest with you! For the past few months, I’ve been going through therapy. I’ve been through a lot of traumatic events over the last two years and my body has been in flight or fight mode the whole time. Last week I had something happen that left me triggered all week. I’m still in that heightened state. When I was talking to my therapist about it, she reminded me to just breathe. Any time I feel triggered to step outside and breathe. If you feel overwhelmed.. step outside and breathe. It’s one of the simplest things to do, but we forget about it all the time. So my advice… just breathe friend everything will be okay!
